This project focuses on upgrading the user experience of the Sichuan Airlines Mobile App. Centered on the philosophy of “Beautiful Sichuan Airlines, Wonderful Travel,” it creates a consistent visual language, restructures the service architecture, and optimizes interaction guidance, transforming the app from a mere travel utility into a travel companion defined by humanistic care, high efficiency, orderliness, and a sense of immersion.

The user interface (UI) draws inspiration from the view outside the cabin window—skies, clouds, and flight trajectories. A palette of pale sky blue and misty white, paired with gradients and frosted glass effects, brings to mind the ethereal beauty of looking out from above the clouds. Rounded card corners further echo the soft forms of clouds, offering a soothing visual experience. Moreover, the signature “Sichuan Airlines Red” is utilized as the primary visual guide, injecting vitality while maintaining strong brand recognition. Additionally, the brand mascot, a giant panda, playfully appears in UI corners and loading animations—like a series of hidden surprises—transforming routine operations into lively and endearing interactions.

In terms of functionality, the app, envisioned as an integrated service platform encompassing dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, efficiently consolidates core services, including ticket booking, check-in, benefit redemption, and itinerary management. Its page is strategically divided into three distinct zones: a primary decision-making zone, a fixed service zone, and a promotional zone. This structure strictly adheres to the principle of “prioritizing decision-making flows to minimize distractions, enhancing information communication through a clear hierarchy, and driving value perception to elevate transactions.” By utilizing a modular card-based presentation, the design achieves a precise alignment between visual zoning and operational guidance, ensuring that users can quickly lock onto critical information during high-frequency tasks.
