Eva Petersson is a young actress with an increasingly grown-up career. The challenge was to create a website that reflected both.
Now based in New York City, Eva has built an extensive body of work across film, television and theatre, alongside years of professional training in acting, voice and dance. Her credits range from screen roles and international commercial campaigns to New York theatre, while her training includes programmes at Juilliard and NYU Tisch.
Our approach was to create a confident, cinematic digital portfolio that puts Eva and her work centre stage. Large-scale photography, strong typography and a deliberately restrained visual language give the site the feel of an established actor’s portfolio, while movement and carefully considered transitions bring energy and personality to the experience.
The structure is intentionally simple. Visitors can quickly understand who Eva is, explore her biography and credits, watch her latest reels and performances, discover recent news and access representation and contact information. Behind that simplicity sits a considerable amount of content, organised to make an extensive and fast-growing portfolio feel effortless to navigate.
Photography and video play a particularly important role. Rather than treating media as supporting material, the design allows imagery and performance to lead the experience. Editorial content, testimonials, awards and professional credits then add depth and credibility without overwhelming the visitor.
The site also has to work for very different audiences. Casting directors and agents need to find reels, credits and representation quickly. Directors and producers want to understand Eva’s range and experience. Media and other visitors can explore the wider story of a performer whose career has developed across different countries, disciplines and stages.
Most importantly, the website is designed to grow with Eva. It captures where she is today without defining where she goes next. A young performer, presented with the confidence of an emerging professional career.
