Amù Amore Bio is an Italian organic dairy brand producing different products sourced exclusively in the Mugello valley, Tuscany. When Artificio took on the packaging redesign, the logo was already established, but the entire product line needed a visual overhaul capable of competing at shelf level in a crowded organic food market. Artificio approached the redesign through the lens of neuromarketing, applying behavioral and perceptual science principles to every creative decision. The goal was not simply to make the packaging more attractive, but to make it work harder as a silent salesperson at the point of purchase.
Three core neuromarketing principles structured the redesign process. Visual hierarchy was rebuilt to guide the consumer's eye in a precise sequence: brand name → product variant → origin claim, ensuring instant readability in under three seconds — the average time a shopper spends evaluating a product on shelf. Color psychology was applied to differentiate flavors through emotionally resonant palettes, each chosen to trigger specific sensory associations: the warmth of apricot orange, the freshness of blueberry purple, the purity of dairy white. Compositional focus and attention mapping informed the placement of key visual elements, fruit imagery, the BIO badge, and the "Mugello" origin mark to maximize salience and trust signals simultaneously.
The result is a packaging family that is visually cohesive, immediately legible, and emotionally compelling: a system where every design choice has a strategic reason to exist.
